Bridges Sober Living Apartments is not just a place to pass the time.

Bridges Sober Living Apartments offers structured sober living homes to both women and men who are struggling with the challenges of mental health disorders, substance abuse, and impulse control problems. We have a reputation for first and foremost providing hope - and then following that up with a way forward.

Bridges Sober Living provides resources and daily scheduling that is more intensive and hands-on than many other sober livings. For this reason, individuals who have repeatedly relapsed or had little success getting sober before are more likely to find long-term sobriety at Bridges Sober Living Apartments. In contrast to other sober living houses that solely provide a place to live for people in recovery, Bridges is committed to offering one-on-one support, mentoring, and tangible help.

Our residents never stop moving forward. From day one, they take steps to build new lives for themselves. As a result, they finally graduate and reintegrate themselves into the outside world, they have already made progress toward their goals, whether these are career goals, education goals, or other kinds of achievements. Our residents do not merely pass the time - they consistently look toward the future and take action.

Discover the place we all call "home".

Ask any resident of Bridges how they got sober - and they'll tell you. The community is the most important aspect of the recovery process. Current residents as well as Bridges alumni form the backbone of this social support system. All of them work together to fight their addictions and substance use disorders, meeting the challenges of life in sobriety. Their shared experiences, shared hope, and fun and joyful friendships make it all possible.

A large body of research has long shown us that one of the most important factors in relapse prevention is having a strong social support system in place. At Bridges Sober Living Apartments, residents are immediately plugged into a network that provides accountability, support, and meaningful connection.

We are proud to say that the vast majority of our former residents continue to communicate, hang out, and support one another no matter how much time has passed since they left their sober living. While they may have started off just wanting to get sober, they ultimately find in our community and support system something just as important: a source of meaning, joy, and purpose.

Benefits of Women's and Men's Sober Living Homes in Los Angeles, CA

Addiction is often referred to as a “disease of loneliness.” This is first and foremost because a high percentage of people turn to drugs and alcohol to escape loneliness and isolation. With time, addiction leads to behaviors that drive loved ones away. As family members, close friends, and romantic partners fade away, many alcoholics and addicts discover that they have nothing and no one left - except for drugs and alcohol. The result is an endless cycle of isolation and substance abuse.

Even when people recognize that they have a problem with alcohol addiction, the vast majority are reluctant to get help. Why? Our culture places a great emphasis on personal accountability, willpower, and self-sufficiency. It is no wonder that people often feel like asking for help is a display of weakness.

Taking the step of enrolling in a sober living home is inherently healing - because it entails a recognition of the problem. But the social support that residents obtain is even more healing. By tackling the isolation and providing people with new friends and a sober network, sober livings like Bridges bring the vicious cycle of loneliness and substance abuse to an end.

Moreover, residents are able to connect with other people who have shared experiences. For the first time, they learn that they are not alone in their struggles. With each passing day, they find they are better able to face their challenges. By pooling their knowledge, giving each other hope, and fostering trust and accountability, sober living home residents make recovery a reality.

Bridges Sober Living is an amazing facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've lived here for 4 months and have found it warm and comfortable. They have helped me stay sober for all the time I've been here. They help place you in an outpatient program, take us to meetings 5 nights a week, shopping, and take us to get our medications and to doctors appointments. I'm so glad I found this apartment and I can't imagine living anywhere else in the beginning stages of my sobriety.

Bridges recovery saves lives. I was in a different program that just wasn't working for me, but then I found bridges. I had never been able to put this much sobriety together until I got here. Upon arrival, Daniel was not only accommodating, but also made me feel safe. I've been to many treatment centers and I know that recovery can truly happen here. If you're considering seeking a sober living then give yourself the chance you deserve and go to bridges. You will not regret it.
