Why Choose Sober Living Near Pomona?

Early recovery often means learning to live without returning to the same patterns that supported addiction. Staying in the same environment, surrounded by familiar triggers, makes that harder. But leaving your life behind entirely isn't the answer either.

Sober living across the region offers a balance: real distance from old routines, with the structure and support that help new habits take hold. Residents attend meetings across the Westside, connect with outpatient care and community resources, and build routines that support long-term recovery.

Getting Here and Getting Around:

  • Metro and bus: The Metro K Line stops at Westchester/Veterans station, with a connection to the E Line at Expo/Crenshaw. Metro Line 115 runs along Manchester Avenue, Culver CityBus Line 6 runs along Sepulveda Boulevard with a connection to the E Line at Expo/Sepulveda, and Big Blue Bus Rapid 3 runs along Lincoln Boulevard toward Venice and Santa Monica.
  • Drive times: About 30 to 40 minutes to Downtown Los Angeles, 10 minutes to LAX, and 20 to 25 minutes to Santa Monica, depending on traffic.
  • Freeway access: The nearest I-405 on-ramps are at Manchester Avenue and La Tijera Boulevard, and I-405 north connects to I-10 within a few miles.
  • Without a car: Residents without a car, including anyone with a suspended license, can reach most of the Westside by bus and Metro.

Work and School:

  • Local industries: Around LAX, Playa Vista, and the Westside, there's a broad range of entry-level and flexible jobs in hospitality, food service, retail, and airport-related work.
  • Nearby community colleges: Santa Monica College and West Los Angeles College are both a short drive or bus ride away.

House Rules and What's Expected

Sober living works because everyone holds to the same standard. Here is what living at Bridges actually involves.

  • Sobriety and testing - Every resident commits to staying completely substance-free, which keeps the home safe and focused for everyone. Testing happens weekly on Sundays and at random at staff discretion, and it's always covered by us, so residents are never charged for it.
  • Curfew - Curfew is 11:00 pm, giving each day a steady rhythm and a predictable end. Overnight passes are available with staff approval, so family visits, work travel, and similar plans can usually be accommodated with a bit of notice.
  • Staff presence - House managers are on site mornings, evenings, and weekends, so support is there at the times it tends to matter most. Mornings start early to set the tone for the day, and evenings are often when the most meaningful conversations happen.
  • Work, school, or structured activity - Residents stay engaged in work, school, or an active job search, because purpose and routine are a big part of lasting recovery. Anyone who arrives between jobs gets hands-on help with resumes, applications, and interview prep.
  • Household responsibilities - Residents share the upkeep of the apartment, which builds accountability and helps the space feel like a real home. Cleaning supplies are provided, so the focus stays on teamwork rather than cost.
  • Guests - Family and supportive friends are an important part of recovery, and visits are welcome within each residence's guidelines. The admissions team can walk through visiting hours and the approval process before move-in.
  • Medication - Residents on prescribed medication continue taking it as directed. Staff help monitor medications, keep prescriptions current, and coordinate with providers when needed.
  • Meals - Residents plan and prepare their own meals, building everyday life skills along the way. A pantry stocked with staples is provided and included in the rent.

Bridges Sober Living is an amazing facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've lived here for 4 months and have found it warm and comfortable. They have helped me stay sober for all the time I've been here. They help place you in an outpatient program, take us to meetings 5 nights a week, shopping, and take us to get our medications and to doctors appointments. I'm so glad I found this apartment and I can't imagine living anywhere else in the beginning stages of my sobriety.

Bridges recovery saves lives. I was in a different program that just wasn't working for me, but then I found bridges. I had never been able to put this much sobriety together until I got here. Upon arrival, Daniel was not only accommodating, but also made me feel safe. I've been to many treatment centers and I know that recovery can truly happen here. If you're considering seeking a sober living then give yourself the chance you deserve and go to bridges. You will not regret it.
